CRBA UPDATE June 14, 2023  We were delighted to have over 130 students and counselors from several churches of our Catawba River Baptist Association gathering for worship this past Sunday night at Catawba Meadows Park to kick off the summer. To God be the Glory. Despite it being a rainy day, these students gathered to learn, pray, and praise the Lord. God is doing great things among students here in Burke County!  |
  It’s that time of year and we hope your church will consider feeding the employees of one of our schools. To claim a school for LoveLOUD 2023 please call our CRBA office. Because of the increase in food costs, each meal is $7.47. If your church would like to participate but needs financial assistance with the food, please contact Brother Robby at our CRBA office. Chick-fil-A in Morganton will again cater the meals.   Bibles for India There was a recent evangelistic crusade in India where thousands came to faith in Christ for which God receives the glory. We want to help the Victory Baptist Association in India (led by pastor Pandu Maddala) by providing bibles for those who have made decisions for Christ. If you or your church would like to help, please send $3 per bible you wish to purchase to Catawba River Baptist Association, and we will forward the funds to India. This is another easy way to be involved in international missions. Another way to help is to advertise that all Vacation Bible School offering proceeds received from your church will go towards buying bibles for new Christians in India. For more information, please call our CRBA office.    How do we change our world and community…………….one disciple at a time. God has called us to make disciple-makers for Christ. If you choose to be obedient to God’s call, you might wonder where to start. There are dozens (if not hundreds) of strategies out there but one that we have found very successful is the G3 Imperative Life of a Christ Follower strategy. This is where one person disciples one or two people for 10 weeks, and those two go and do the same resulting in not only disciples but disciple-makers. CRBA Resource of the Week  Many of us grew up playing Jenga with our friends and family. It is a simple game, but one that generates fun, and laughter and it can involve several people in every game. Because of the generosity of our CRBA churches, we have a GIANT Jenga set for churches to use. This is one of the games found in the CRBA Block Party Trailer.
