CRBA UPDATE June 21, 2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() |
![]() ![]() It’s that time of year and we hope your church will consider feeding the employees of one of our schools. To claim a school for LoveLOUD 2023 please call our CRBA office. Because of the increase in food costs, each meal is $7.47. If your church would like to participate but needs financial assistance with the food, please contact Brother Robby at our CRBA office. Chick-fil-A in Morganton will again cater the meals. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Washing Clothes for Jesus Some of our churches are located in areas where many folks cannot afford to own their own washer and dryer so they have to pay to wash their clothes at a laundromat. Some churches who wish to reach their community have chosen to purchase a clothes washer and dryer and put it in their church and make it available to the community once or twice a week free of charge. This allows church members the opportunity to minister and share Christ with those in need. This is a great opportunity to make a big impact in our community for Christ. To learn of dozens of creative ideas to help you and your church reach your community for Christ, go to our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@CRBANC/videos and there you will find dozens of videos sharing creative ideas to be involved in the community. While there, please subscribe to our channel so you can get the latest from your Catawba River Baptist Association. CRBA Resource of the Week ![]() One of the game trends popular among students is the exciting game of Spike Ball. Spikeball is similar to volleyball, but instead of hitting the ball over a net, you hit the ball directly into one. The round net is stretched tightly over a plastic rim, giving the ball a nice bounce when it hits. In this two-on-two (or more if you prefer) game, you use teamwork to volley the ball back into the net in three hits or less. If you’re unable to do so or the ball touches the ground, the other team gets a point. With no sides and no boundaries, you’ll get an all-around workout chasing the ball during your volleys. Great news, your Association has one, and it can be checked out for free by calling our CRBA office. Call and reserve this game for your church today.
