CRBA Update October 14, 2021

CRBA Fall Meeting Short Flyer 2021

Our Annual CRBA Session and Celebration are going to be wonderful blessings this year and I hope you and your congregation will make plans to join us. As you know from reading the Weekly Update, we are doing it all this Sunday, October 17th. As a reminder, we do not want you to cancel your services this Sunday evening, just move them to Burkemont Baptist where we will be uniting our 66 churches together for worship. The day will go like this:

5:45 –Messengers to the Association (from our CRBA churches) will meet in the Worship Center and no meal will be provided this year due to covid precautions
6:00 –Adult Worship Celebration with evangelist Dr. Kevin Ezell (North American Mission Board) at Burkemont
6:00 –Children’s Worship Celebration at Burkemont in the Family Life Center
6:00 –Youth Worship Celebration with speaker/evangelist Nate Garrett (will take place at Walker Road Baptist Church)

This celebration service is a very important time in the life of The Catawba River Baptist Association as it is the only time our churches gather together. It will be a time of joy as we celebrate what God has been doing in our community through the ministries of CRBA and its churches. Therefore, I hope you will participate and encourage your church to be with us and join the celebration.

Also, a special offering will be taken which will be used to support and our CRBA ministries and Send Relief (disaster relief).

Thank you for your ministry and for partnering together
to reach communities for Christ.

Golf Thanks

Thank you to all who had a part in making our annual Golf For Toy Store Ministry Tournament a blessing and success. This year we raised almost $2,000 for the ministry of our CRBA Toy Store. Thank you to our planning team led by Earl Cross and to all of our hole sponsors and volunteers. It’s been said “it takes teamwork to make the dream work” and that has never been more true when it comes to our toy store ministry and the benefit golf tournament. Our volunteers and sponsors are the best!
