CRBA Update October 21, 2021

Thank you!

Thank you to all who attended this year’s CRBA Annual Meeting and Worship Celebration at Burkemont. With almost 400 saints participating between the children’s, students, and adult activities, we were blessed to have our churches worship together in this important annual event. Thank you Burkemont and Walker Road for being wonderful hosts. And thank you Jon Calloway and the worship teams of East Valdese and Hmong FBC for leading in worship.

Mark your calendars for next year’s Annual Meeting and Worship Celebration which takes place at Mount Home on October 23. Our guest speaker for the adults will be Todd Unzicker who is the new Executive Director/Treasurer of the Baptist State Convention of NC.

We are excited to announce we will be partnering with our State Convention this year collecting coats for those in need in New York City. As you know, scripture tells us to be witnesses in our communities, state, nation, and world. Therefore, part of our Acts 1:8 strategy this year will focus on New York, and we need your help. If you have new or “gently used” coats (heavy or light) that you wish to “send on mission” please bring them by our CRBA office or bring them to our CRBA Fall Meeting and Celebration October 17th and drop them off at a designated location in the parking lot of Burkemont Baptist from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to our Worship Celebration which will begin at 6 p.m. This is a great way to be involved in missions!
