CRBA Update September 9, 2021

Hospital Prayer Collage 2021

It was a great honor for our pastors to join together to pray over the doctors, nurses, staff, and administration of our local hospitals in Morganton and Valdese. Continue to pray for these “front-line” workers as well as our pastors as they make a difference in our community.

CRBA Prayer Call Updated 2021

Toy Store Stocking Volunteer Request 2021

Central Asia (1)

We are excited to announce we will be doing ministry in Central Asia in April of 2022. With the help of one of our IMB Missionaries, we will be traveling to Central Asia. We will have an information meeting on September 9th at our CRBA office in Morganton. For more information on this exciting trip please join us at 6:30 p.m. We hope to see you there.

CRBA Fall Meeting Short Flyer 2021

Please contact the CRBA office (828-437-0137 or admin@crbanc.org) to let us know who your church messengers are for this year’s CRBA Fall Meeting which will begin at 5:45 p.m. on October 17th at Burkemont. Although we are not having the food portion, we will still need the names of those attending the business meeting.

At 6 p.m., following the business session, we will have a wonderful Worship Celebration where everyone is invited to attend. Reservations are not necessary for this portion. Our special guest will be Dr. Kevin Ezell from NAMB.

Choir Rehearsal will begin at 4:30 p.m.

There will be special activities for children, youth, and adults. We look forward to seeing you there!

Coats for the City Dates

We are excited to announce we will be partnering with our State Convention this year collecting coats for those in need in New York City. As you know, scripture tells us to be witnesses in our communities, state, nation, and world. Therefore, part of our Acts 1:8 strategy this year will focus on New York, and we need your help. If you have new or “gently used” coats (heavy or light) that you wish to “send on mission” please bring them by our CRBA office or bring them to our CRBA Fall Meeting and Celebration on October 17th and drop them off at a designated location in the parking lot of Burkemont Baptist from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to our Worship Celebration which will begin at 6 p.m. This is a great way to be involved in missions!

4th Annual Golf Tournament 2021

This is always a great time of recreation and fellowship. If you have not registered a team yet, please call Earl Cross today. Also, I encourage each of our CRBA churches to “Sponsor A Hole” at $100 per hole. Several local business owners are participating, and it is our hope our churches will do the same. Make hole sponsorship checks out to CRBA and write “Golf Tournament Hole Sponsorship” on the memo line. Also, proceeds from hole sponsorships go to the purchase of toys for children in need.
