Prayer

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

prayer

In the book of Philippians, God invites his children to pray about everything. Why does he do this? God invites us to pray because He loves us so very much and He desires a personal love relationship with us. God takes no pleasure in our anxiety and worry. If we know Christ as our Savior and Lord, God stands ready to help if we will just pour out our hearts to him in prayer. If we will pray in faith, trusting that God has heard us, then God will give us peace and He will meet our needs in ways that are good and best. What an awesome privilege we have in prayer. It is a privilege that Christ bought for us with his blood. As a prayer team for our association, we want to encourage you to use this privilege every day. Make prayer a vital part of your daily life. Furthermore, we want to serve you as a prayer team. The Bible tells us to pray for each other. As a prayer team, we want to join you in lifting up any needs you may have. So, feel free to make use of this prayer page. As you share your needs with us, we will covenant with you to pray for each and every one of these needs. We will pray with you and for you until God in his time and way has answered your prayer. Let us pray together trusting in God’s power, love and timing.

May God Bless you!

“God’s role in prayer is to give according to His desires, purposes and ways. Our role as His people and priests in His Kingdom is to be about our relationship with Him…”
