Associational Mission Strategist - Dr. Michael R. Hodge
Michael Hodge joined our team in June 2026 as our new AMS (Associational Mission Strategist). Prior to CRBA, Michael served as a Senior Pastor in two congregations and Associate Pastor in several SC churches. Michael and Amanda served with our International Mission Board as well. They have two adult children and are excited to serve alongside our churches and ministries across Burke County. Michael has a Doctor of Ministry from North Greenville University, and graduated with his masters from SEBTS (Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary). As the coffee cup display in his office demonstrates, Michael enjoys a great cup of coffee, spending time with Amanda, and you might even see him running on the Greenway Trails near Catawba Meadows Park. We welcome Michael and Amanda to CRBA!
Administrative Assistant: Veronica Klapp
Veronica became part of the CRBA team in October 2022. Alongside her husband Greg, who serves as Pastor of Children and Families at Burkemont Baptist Church in Morganton, Veronica has faithfully ministered in Burke County for decades. Together, they have been blessed with seven children, including the three spouses of their married children, whom they joyfully embrace as their own, and two cherished grandsons. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. We are grateful for her dedication to ministry and her willingness to support our churches with excellence and care.
