Helping students discern and navigate theirs is an essential part of discipleship that will enable them to live with gospel purpose and intentionality. Understanding their calling involves discerning their gifts, talents, passions, and God’s strategic plan for their lives. It not only shapes their educational pathway as they prepare for the future, but it will also influence how they approach their relationships, hobbies, studies, and personal walk with Christ during this formative season. Next to understanding their identity in Christ, equipping students to discern and navigate their calling may be the most important aspect of our discipleship ministry in their lives.
