Church-Based ESL Ministries as an Effective Mission Outreach Tool
Organizing an ESL Ministry
Sharing Your Faith with Your Students
Dealing with Cultural Misunderstandings
Principles of Learning and Teaching a Language
Planning Your ESL Lesson
Introducing New Vocabulary with Guided Practice
Teaching Pronunciation
Communication Practice Activities
Incorporating Biblical Material in Your Classes

Upcoming Workshops
NC Baptist schedules ESL Teacher Training workshops each spring and late summer/fall. Currently, there are workshops scheduled for the following dates and locations:

July 25-26 in Denver, NC
August 1-2 in Franklin, NC
August 15-16 in Charlotte, NC
September 5-6 in North Durham, NC

Additional workshops may be added as requested.

Registration for these workshops is available on the Events page at NCBaptist.org. Please look for the logo above, then click on the desired dates to register. Free Well & Spring Water Testing Available for Burke County HouseholdsIn response to water quality concerns following Hurricane Helene
Wine To Water is currently offering free well and spring water testing to households in Burke County. Our goal is to reach as many families as possible—especially those who may not realize their drinking water could be affected.

How you can help:
We’re inviting churches and faith-based organizations to help spread the word. Here’s how you can get involved:
Share our Digital Flyers – Perfect for bulletins, newsletters, and social media (attached)
Make a Brief Announcement – We’ve prepared a short script pastors can use during services
Host a Table or Info Session – We’ll provide everything needed to support your efforts
Sign up for free testing: wtw.org/wnc-wqt
