A Heartfelt Plea to Our Churches: Sponsor the Remaining Schools for LoveBurke Schools We are reaching out with a heartfelt plea to our church family across Burke County: please prayerfully consider sponsoring one of the remaining schools in our LoveBurke Schools initiative. As you know, LoveBurke Schools is about more than just service—it’s about showing the tangible love of Jesus to our educators, students, and school staff. It’s about reminding them that they are seen, valued, and supported by the body of Christ. Right now, several schools in our county still need sponsors—churches who will commit to praying, encouraging, and building relationships with them throughout the year. Your church can be that light. Whether large or small, every congregation has something powerful to offer—your presence, your prayers, and your partnership. Please don’t assume another church will step in. This is our time to say, “Here we are, Lord. Send us.” If you’re ready to make an eternal impact in our community or want more details, we would love to connect with you. Let’s come together as the Church to love our schools well. ServeNC ServeNC is an opportunity for every NC Baptist church to love its community in Jesus’ name through service projects. Every church. Every community.If your church didn’t exist, would your community notice? Whether it’s painting a school, cleaning up a yard or serving meals to those in need, your church knows your community’s specific needs and can choose the best project to make a difference through ServeNC. The CRBA LoveBurke Schools Mission will also count as participating in Serve NC! Save the Date Tee off for a Cause Join us for the Toy Store Golf Tournament! Get ready to hit the green and make a difference this holiday season! Sign up a team or sponsor a hole—every swing helps bring JOY to children and families through the LoveBurke Toy Store. Form a Team – Grab your friends, coworkers, or church members and sign up to play! Sponsor a Hole – Highlight your business, church, or family while supporting a great cause! All proceeds go directly to funding the Toy Store, providing Christmas gifts for families in need across Burke County. Play Golf. Give Hope. Share Joy. Empowering Pastors for Transitional Ministry NOVEMBER 17-18 Cost: $75 includes Lunch CRBA Pastors get a $30 discount RSVP by Nov. 3This two-day training equips pastors and church leaders to guide congregations through times of transition with clarity and purpose. Participants will gain practical tools useful for both traditional and transitional interim pastors, as well as pastor search committees. Training runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with lunch and snacks included. Registration is $75 and covers all materials and meals.For More Information or to RSVP please visit our CRBA Website.
