| Director of Missions Search Profile The Catawba River Baptist Association in Morganton, NC is searching for its next Director of Missions. The Director of Missions will be a full-time man who has been called by the Lord to lead and to minister alongside the churches of the association.The Catawba River Baptist Association is “a fellowship of Churches-on-Mission.” EachChurch is independent and autonomous, but we have made a covenant, or agreement,to work cooperatively together to reach people for Jesus. The 67 churches of theCatawba River Baptist Association know that we can do much more by workingcooperatively as partners than any church could do alone.The association is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the NorthCarolina Baptist Convention. The Catawba River Baptist Association is located inbeautiful western North Carolina. We are comprised of 67 churches located in BurkeCounty where the population is around 90,000 people.Our mission is: Uniting and strengthening CRBA churches to be on mission in buildingthe kingdom of Christ in the community and beyond.The following are the three areas that are important to our churches.Ministry Essentials• View of the Bible: authoritative, inerrant, infallible, inspired, and sufficient• Endorsement of and agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and theCRBA Statement of Faith• Missions and evangelisms as priorities• Team builder with all size churches and intentionally cooperative with our Baptistentities: state convention, NC Baptist on Mission, and SBC• Love of the local church• Leadership with administrative gifts• Vision and passion for ministryMinistry Experience• 10+ years of ministry experience (pastoral, church staff, convention staff, or ministryorganization)• Director of Missions experience (preferable)• Preaching and teaching experience• Good listener, encourager, and pastoral resourceMinistry Education• Bachelor’s degree (preferable)If the Lord leads you to submit a resume for this position, please email it todomcrba1812@gmail.com.
