| Let’s Celebrate CRBBI Diploma Awarded to Wilson Crawley  Thank You for Supporting the Coat Drive! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the Coat Drive for the NC Mountains. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to collect a wonderful supply of coats to help share warmth with those in need. We are grateful for your support! Upcoming Opportunities Volunteers Needed  We still need more volunteers for Toy Store. Volunteers would help a parent shop for toys for their children. This is a great time to show the love of Christ to our community. If you are interested in volunteering please call (828) 437-0137. Toy Donations Needed- Stockings too!  Due to an incredible response for Toy Store this year, we are in need of additional toy donations. If you’d like to support this ministry, please bring your toy donations to the CRBA office as soon as possible. This will allow us to assess how many toys will still need to be purchased to meet the needs of our community. Additionally, if you’re sewing stockings, our need for those has increased as well. Thank you for your generous support of this ministry as we reach out to families in Burke County! Young Eagles Free Fly-In  Men’s Rally  Please RSVP by Nov. 7th if you wish to attend the Men’s Rally Resource of the Week  Your CRBA has an evangelism cube available for your ministry needs. Local Mission Opportunities Support for Burke County DSS We have a local member collecting essential supplies for Burke County DSS, and your contributions are greatly appreciated! The following items are needed:Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, new towels, and washcloths (no razors, please).Queen sheet sets and blankets.New underwear (all sizes for both genders) and new bras (all sizes).If you’d like to donate, please drop off your items by Oct. 31st to the CRBA office. News from our CRBA Churches Amherst Baptist Church invites all Youth to The Commission Youth Rally on November 17 from 4:30-8:00.  Burkemont Baptist Church will reschedule Judgement House due to the circumstances with the Hurricane clean up. Stay Tuned for new dates.  |
