Residency Project ![]() Our residents participating in our monthly Resident Project (Foothills North) Cohort were blessed to be a United Baptist in Valdese. The food was great (thank you Dawn Mathews) and the teaching by pastor Steve Mathews was wonderful and inspiring. God is using this important ministry to help raise pastors and leaders to serve in our churches. To God be the glory for all He is doing. Messenger Representation: As a reminder, here’s what our constitution states regarding the number of messengers each church is allowed to appoint: Three messengers for the first 100 members of a church (or fraction thereof). One additional messenger for every 100 members beyond the initial 100. Each ministerial staff member of the church counts as an additional messenger. The Moderator, Vice Moderator, Treasurer, and Secretary of this Association are considered messengers. Please make sure your church is represented and confirm your RSVP today!
