Let’s Celebrate
Local Family Mission Trip
Local Family Mission Day 2025
This past Saturday, more than 70 people—men, women, boys, and girls—gathered at Maynard Electric, home of United Christian Alliance, to serve families affected by Hurricane Helene. It was a beautiful picture of the body of Christ working together across generations and backgrounds.
Families served side by side, sorting supplies, cleaning, building storage sheds, and cutting and sorting lumber—all to help the people of western North Carolina begin rebuilding their lives and homes.
A special thank you to United Christian Alliance for providing such a wonderful opportunity for ministry. We’re also incredibly grateful to Debbie Cramer and her team for organizing lunch, and to Chick-fil-A for graciously providing the sandwiches.
It was a wonderful day of serving our Lord and loving our neighbors well. To God be the glory!

Senior Adult Hymn Sing
Senior Adult Hymn Sing 2025
This past Tuesday, we experienced a wonderful blessing as nearly 100 senior adults came together to lift their voices in worship, singing the cherished songs of our faith. It was a beautiful time of prayer, fellowship, and celebration as we gave glory to God for all He has done—and continues to do—through the lives of our senior saints.
A heartfelt thank you to El Bethel for the delicious meal and for graciously hosting us. We’re also deeply grateful to Keith Burkhart and Jon Calloway for leading us in such a meaningful time of worship and encouragement.
What a joy it is to celebrate God’s faithfulness across the generations!

Sponsor a Bike – Share the Gospel!?
Burke Changer Bikes
Could your church or Sunday School group sponsor a bike for a Burke Changer Block Party? During Burke Changer Mission Week, the gospel is shared at each block party, creating a powerful opportunity for outreach in our community.
This summer, the youth of our CRBA churches will serve by building handicap ramps during the day. In the evenings, they will minister through  5 free, community-wide block parties, which include food, fun activities, and a special bike giveaway.
We need your help! Each bike costs $100 and provides not only a fun gift but also an opportunity for others to hear the gospel. Would you consider sponsoring a bike and making an eternal impact?  If you are willing to help please contact us at (828) 437-0137.

Help Defund Planned Parenthood
defund planned parenthood
Brent Leatherwood, President of the SBC Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), asks for our help to spread the word about their big legislative push right now: getting Congress to actually defund Planned Parenthood. They have created a petition that has garnered thousands of names already –– and they would like to add more. The reason for this push is because Congress is officially on the clock, and they would like to get them as many names from Southern Baptist leaders, pastors, and believers as possible to show them this is a huge priority for our convention of churches.

The letter is linked here. Brent asks us to please sign it and share it with our churches as soon as possible.    Local Disaster Relief Site Needs Truck DriversDo you have a pickup truck?  We sure could use your help taking small loads for disaster relief!  If you have a goose neck and can help move timy homes we need you as well!  Please contact 828-201-5379 if you can help with this need. NC Baptist on
