| Call to Prayer Join Us in Prayer: Armenia Mission Team Sets Off Today!  Today marks the beginning of an important journey for our Armenia Mission Team as they set off on a 10-day trip to Armenia. Their mission is significant: to train pastors and collaborate with churches in Armenia, fostering growth and strengthening ministries in the region. As they embark on this journey, we ask for your support in covering them with prayer. Please join us in lifting up our team in prayer, asking for safety, guidance, and impactful connections throughout their time in Armenia. Let’s pray for: Safe travels: May their journey be smooth and free from any complications. Guidance and wisdom: May they be led by The Holy Spirit as they engage with pastors and church leaders, sharing their knowledge and experiences. Meaningful connections: Pray that their interactions with the local community will be fruitful and foster lasting relationships. Impactful ministry: Pray that their efforts will bear fruit, equipping pastors and strengthening churches in Armenia. We believe in the power of prayer to uplift and support our team as they embark on this mission. Thank you for joining us in prayer for their journey. Let’s Celebrate Baptisms  What a joy it is to witness the hand of God at work in our midst! As we continue to walk in faith together, we’re filled with gratitude for the blessings He pours out upon us each day. We believe that moments of celebration should be shared and rejoiced in by the entire church family. That’s why we’re reaching out to you today with an invitation: please send us pictures of baptisms that take place throughout the year. Whether it’s a photo of someone stepping into the waters of baptism or a snapshot of the congregation gathered in prayerful support, we want to rejoice with those who rejoice. Your pictures will be featured in our church updates, serving as reminders of God’s faithfulness and the growth of His kingdom in our midst. Senior Adult Luncheon  Thanks to the heartfelt leadership of the Ollis Family in worship and the culinary talents of Mt. Home, the Senior Adult Spring Luncheon was a delightful occasion. We would like to offer a warm appreciation to the CRBA Senior Adult Team and Rocky Hartman for planning and cooking for this memorable even. Thank you to Mount Home for hosting! Residency Project  Let’s rejoice together in the work that God is accomplishing through Residency Project. The Residency Project NC is a practical training program and networking group for aspiring and new pastors designed to help them launch into their new ministries better equipped and with the relationships they need to begin their ministry. Through monthly cohort meetings, personalized Pastoral coaching, and local church discipleship, rising leaders will get the support, encouragement, and relationships they need to more effectively shepherd their churches and mobilize them to reach the state and nations with the gospel.Upcoming OpportunitiesEquip ConferenceJoin us for the highly anticipated Equip Conference on May 5th, from 4 PM to 6 PM, an empowering event designed for individuals passionate about deepening their ministry impact and personal growth in faith. Keith Rose will offer his wisdom on how to witness without fear, empowering you to share your faith confidently. Lastly, Paul Langston will discuss developing robust men’s and women’s missions, helping you to cultivate a vibrant, mission-focused community. Food Round-Up April Collection  The CRBA is rallying support for the Baptist Children’s Homes of NC by collecting grocery gift cards through the month of April. Please bring all cards to our CRBA office, and we will make sure they are delivered to the Children’s Home. Cakes for Kids  We will be collecting birthday cakes to fill the freezer at the Children’s Home in Clyde. Children may go to the freezer to choose their cake on their birthday. Please wrap each cake in Sarann Wrap and tin foil and place in a cake box. Please leave all decorations off of the top. They may be placed inside the box to be placed on the cake after thawing. You may pick up cake boxes at the CRBA. Schools of the Week We still have many Burke County Schools available for LoveLoud sponsorship. Please join us in praying for these 4 schools and their staff this week:  Patton High School, WA Young Elementary, Salem Elementary, Valdese Elementary. If you would like to minister to a Burke County School in August, please give our office a call (828) 437-0137. Young Life Interest Meeting  You are invited to an interest meeting for starting Young Life in eastern Burke County High Schools. Resource of the Week Kan Jam  We have great resources for our CRBA churches to use, including the very popular game called Kan Jam. To reserve this resource (or others), please call our CRBA office at 828-437-0137.Out of the Box Idea Out of the Box Idea (Creative ideas to help churches reach our communities) Provide baked goods, fruit, snacks, and coffee in the teachers’ lounge of a local school. Write notes of encouragement to the teachers for a great school year. Ask the principal of the school for permission to place a prayer request box in the teachers’ lounge so you can pray for teachers all year. Another idea is to cater lunch on an in-service training day. News from our CRBA Churches Mission Church has 28 pews available to someone who could use them. If you need one or all, they are available for free to any CRBA church, but donations are appreciated as this is a new church plant (formerly Coram Deo, merged with Southside to form Mission Church). Oak Ridge Baptist Church The Compassionate Heart Clinic of Oak Ridge is seeking patients (18 and older). Patients must have financial needs and be ineligible for Medicaid or Medicare. Call 828-522-1112 for more information. Set Free Christian Fellowship needs a 12-15 passenger van. If you have any information on a reliable, inexpensive passenger van, please call the CRBA office at 828-437-0137. Set Free invites adults ages 18 and up to a regular time of sports and fun. Mark your calendars every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 4-8pm. We’ve got an array of activities lined up including cornhole, walking, basketball, volleyball, and live music to keep the energy high!  Summit Community Church – invites you to join them for a Pricilla Shirer Simulcast. There is no cost to you to attend. The doors will open at 8:30 am and the simulcast will begin at 9:00am.
