| Let’s Celebrate Timothy Project  The Timothy Project is officially underway! This ministry is designed for students who sense a call to vocational ministry, and we are excited to see how God is already at work in their lives. This week, Pastor Mike Shillinglaw joined us as a guest speaker, faithfully pouring into these outstanding students and encouraging them in their calling. There is a genuine excitement as they grow in their understanding of what it means to be true disciples of Christ. Please join us in praying for these students as they continue seeking the Lord and preparing for the work He may have for them. Baptist church to fill their baptism tanks on April 12 – or an upcoming Sunday – and trust God to save people between now and then. High Peak- High Peak has approximately 50 weeks worth of Cathedral Art Folders bulletins (about 100 per week) that we would love to give away. These bulletins feature beautiful artwork on the front, and some are designed specifically for weddings or other special occasions. If your church can make use of them, please let us know! Partner News South Mountain Baptist Camp Fun Run Missions Rally for Region 8 at Mount Home Feb. 19th We look forward to seeing you there. As a reminder we have these rallies all across the state. These rallies (10 of them) will highlight the variety of opportunities NC Baptists have to be involved in missions across our state, in our nation, and around the world. Featured will be worship, testimony, mission video, and a prayer time for missions. These rallies are for men, women and youth- everyone interested in missions is encouraged to attend. A main focus of these rallies will be state, national, international partnerships and projects (including Disaster Relief) and the NC Missions Offering. A meal is provided for the NC Mission Rallies at no charge. If you would like to add additional people, please make a new reservation for the number of additional people rather than adding to your existing number. The event, coordinated by AMOREM’s wellness committee and dietary services, was inspired by the organization’s mission, vision and values. Staff were challenged to donate canned foods in a friendly competition between campuses and the collection from each campus was distributed to local food banks. AMOREM, formerly Burke Hospice and Palliative Care and Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, is proud to be your local, nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider with more than 40 years of experience providing the highest quality care possible. Ministry Opportunity: Reach “The One” at Foothills Correctional Freedom Life Ministries, a Christ-centered reentry program born out of Marion Correctional, has expanded its outreach and services to Foothills Correctional here in Morganton. We are seeking 11 partner churches from the Catawba River Baptist Association to sponsor a monthly night of worship and fellowship.How Your Church Can HelpOnce a month, Freedom Life leads a Sunday night worship service and Bible study for approximately 140 inmates. Your congregation can support this mission by providing a simple snack and drink for the attendees. The Commitment: Provide 140 snacks (e.g., Honey Buns) and 140 bottled waters. The Frequency: Your church would cover just one Sunday night per year.
