Let’s Celebrate

Men’s Rally
Men's Rally Feb 2026
What a wonderful evening we shared Monday night at our quarterly CRBA Men’s Rally! God truly blessed us with one of our largest crowds yet, and the atmosphere was filled with energy, fellowship, and anticipation for what the Lord would do.    We are especially grateful to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for graciously hosting us. Their warm hospitality and welcoming spirit helped make the evening such a meaningful experience for everyone who attended. From the moment the doors opened, it was clear that careful preparation and servant-hearted dedication had gone into every detail.

We were also deeply blessed by the powerful message shared by Tim Bentley. He faithfully proclaimed God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and encouragement, challenging the men in attendance to walk boldly in their faith and lead with integrity in their homes, churches, and communities.

The food was outstanding, the fellowship was uplifting, and the spirit in the room was undeniable. Most importantly, we rejoice in the greatest blessing of the night: three men gave their hearts to Christ. There is no greater reason to celebrate than lives transformed by the saving grace of our Lord.

Praise the Lord for all He has done and continues to do through these gatherings! We are already looking forward to the next rally and trusting God for even greater things to come.

What if we could see thousands profess Christ through believer’s baptism on a single day? That’s the heartbeat behind the statewide “Fill the Tank” baptism emphasis.
We’re encouraging every N.C. Baptist church to fill their baptism tanks on April 12 – or an upcoming Sunday – and trust God to save people between now and then. Will you sign up to “fill the tank?”

South Mountain Baptist Camp Fun Run- March 21st
We are excited to return to Catawba Meadows Greenway in Morganton, NC for the SMBC 5K, 10K, and Fun Run in 2026!

Since the inception of South Mountain Baptist Camp in 1957 in the South Mountains of North Carolina, the goal was to provide an environment that fosters spiritual growth through disconnecting from the world so as to connect with God. Time in nature, being exposed to new skills, and making friends, enables children, teenagers, and adults to learn about Jesus Christ and the message of salvation.
South Mountain seeks to keep camp affordable for everyone and offsets the cost of camp by around $100 per camper since it’s estimated that the cost of South Mountain’s summer camp is $205 per week and the true cost of camp is over $300 per week.
Proceeds from each race goes directly to the camp’s operating budget. This race celebrates God’s work through South Mountain and the ability to experience a great, low-cost camp.
Join us by running, walking, volunteering, or cheering the participants on!

Ministry Opportunity: Reach “The One” at Foothills Correctional
Freedom Life Ministries, a Christ-centered reentry program born out of Marion Correctional, has expanded its outreach and services to Foothills Correctional here in Morganton. We are seeking 11 partner churches from the Catawba River Baptist Association to sponsor a monthly night of worship and fellowship. How Your Church Can HelpOnce a month, Freedom Life leads a Sunday night worship service and Bible study for approximately 140 inmates.
Your congregation can support this mission by providing a simple snack and drink for the attendees.
The Commitment: Provide 140 snacks (e.g., Honey Buns) and 140 bottled waters.
The Frequency: Your church would cover just one Sunday night per year.
The Impact: You are reminding those who are incarcerated that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten by God or their community.Scriptural FoundationThis mission is rooted in the call to seek the lost and bring hope to the brokenhearted:”The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” — Isaiah 61:1The Parable of the Lost Sheep: Jesus speaks of leaving the ninety-nine to go after the one who is lost until He finds it. — Luke 15:4
