I am happy to celebrate with you that another person, Shawn Cassady, has faithfully gone through Youth Ministry University. This is a great tool for ministry and is available to members of our Association free of charge. Shawn said this about Youth Ministry University, “This is a great program for anyone trying to get into the ministry. I Timothy 4:12.” If you want more education or you are just getting started like Shawn, please contact our CRBA office, and we can get you signed up at no cost to you.

David Turbeville 3 Hello CRBA Family,
My name is David Turbeville.  I am the pastor of Set Free Christian Fellowship.  We launched on September 10, 2023.  Thank you for your help and support.  As you know, our mission is to reach men and women who are on probation and parole, men and women who have a criminal background and don’t feel comfortable in a “traditional church setting”, their families, and men and women who are on the sex-offender registry,
Recently, we raised $1,641 for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  Our goal was $200.  God blew that out of the water.  We delivered 4 Blessing Boxes to families. These boxes contained one turkey, canned vegetables, a desert and hygiene items. We helped one man get to an alcohol rehab facility that accepts sex offenders. We have new people visit nearly every Sunday.  We had a young couple join on Sunday, January 14.  We are averaging 13 for worship. Bruce McCrary teaches our Sunday school class for us.  Fuet Hang leads our worship.  Jim Delany leads our addictions class on Wednesday nights. We have weekly visitation. In February, we will be adding Discipleship classes.  We are working hard to reach people for Christ.
Thank you for your prayers.  Please continue to pray for us as we reach the people that God has called to serve.  We are blessed to be in such an active association.
God Bless,

David Turbeville, Pastor

Local Mission Opportunities *These opportunities will be listed for 1 month in our newsletter.  If the need is unmet, please contact the office so we know to leave the need listed.  We have been contacted by a local person that is need of an inexpensive vehicle to get to Dr. appointments.  They are willing to make monthly payments.  The individual has esophogeal cancer and is having to pay expensive costs for transportation to each Dr. appointment which is depleting the income he has to live on.  If you are willing to provide an inexpensive vehicle for this person to purchase, please contact (828) 548-0274
