| Let’s Celebrate Burke Changers   BurkeChangers Youth Mission Week was a tremendous success! This year, 18 churches joined forces to serve the community, making a significant impact through their hard work and dedication.Accomplishments: Handicap Ramps: Built 19 ramps, improving accessibility for many. Painting and Landscaping: Enhanced the appearance and functionality of the CRBA. BUCM Contributions: Sorted food and clothes at Burke United Christian Ministries. Construction Projects: Built a stage at one of our churches, adding a valuable resource for future events. Special Thanks: Feeding Teams: Gratitude to all the teams that provided lunches for our hardworking crews. Crew Chiefs, Encouragers, and Adult Volunteers: Your time and effort were crucial to the success of BurkeChangers. El Bethel: Thank you for feeding the BurkeChangers on Wednesday. Youth Participants: Your dedication and willingness to spend a week of your summer serving the community is truly inspiring. We give God all the glory for the success of BurkeChangers Youth Mission Week and look forward to continuing our mission to serve and uplift our community. Women’s Ministry ServeNC Project for All Associational Churches  The Women’s Ministry of the CRBA is organizing an opportunity for all the women of CRBA to participate in ServeNC. ServeNC is an opportunity for every NC Baptist church to love its community in Jesus’ name through service projects. One opportunity for involvement is to join the Women’s ministry in building a handicap ramp right here in Burke County! Save the Date Quarterly Men’s Rally  The CRBA Men’s Ministry Team would like to invite all men and boys to the next Men’s Rally on August 27th. Amherst will be hosting, and a meal will be provided. If you would like to reserve the hopping balls, please call 828-437-0137. Out of the Box Idea POPSICLE GIVEAWAY Summers are a great time for outdoor types of ministries. One great idea is for your bible study class or church group to handout free popsicles to those in outdoor spaces such as a park or sporting event. Be sure to include an invite card inviting everyone to your church the following Sunday. Local Mission Opportunity An Elderly lady from our community is in need of someone to come mow her grass. If you are able to meet this need please contact Theresa Branch at (828) 201-7671. She lives off of Jamestown exit. VBS Grace Baptist will have VBS from June 9-13 from 6:00-8:30 PM. Register here. If you have this skill and can help, please call pastor James Cain at 828-244-7168. Oak Ridge Baptist Church The Compassionate Heart Clinic of Oak Ridge is seeking patients (18 and older).
