 Pastor, One of the greatest blessings in ministry is walking alongside other shepherds who understand both the joys and the challenges of leading God’s people. That’s why we are excited to invite you to be part of one of our upcoming CRBA Pastor Cohorts. We currently have one cohort meeting monthly and are seeking to add two more groups in the coming weeks. Each month, pastors from churches of all sizes will gather to pray intentionally for one another, build authentic relationships, and walk through a ministry-focused book together. This will be a time of learning, encouragement, and support as we strengthen one another for the work God has called us to do. These cohorts are not programs. They are partnerships. They are spaces for honest conversation, shared wisdom, and mutual support. Whether you serve a small rural congregation or a larger church family, you will find value in sitting around the table with fellow pastors who desire to grow and finish well. In a day when ministry can feel isolating, this is an opportunity to be reminded that you are not alone. As leaders within the Catawba River Baptist Association, we are better together. Ramp Build  Spruce Pine Mission Rebuild  Associational Bible Drill  Save the Date April Food Card Drive for Our Baptist Children’s Home  This April, we are inviting all of our partnering churches to join us in a special effort to support the ministry of the Baptist Children’s Home. Throughout April, we are asking churches to collect grocery store food cards to help provide meals and essential household items for the children and families served. These food cards allow this important ministry to purchase fresh, nutritious food and meet specific needs as they arise. By participating in this Food Card Drive, your church family can make a direct and meaningful impact. Every card given helps ensure that the children in our care have consistent, healthy meals and the everyday essentials they need to thrive.How You Can Help:Encourage members to purchase grocery store food cards in any amount.Collect the cards during the month of April.Send or deliver the collected cards to our ministry office by the end of the month.This simple act of generosity makes a powerful difference. Together, we can continue to provide loving care, stability, and hope to every child served through the Baptist Children’s Home. Since the inception of South Mountain Baptist Camp in 1957 in the South Mountains of North Carolina, the goal was to provide an environment that fosters spiritual growth through disconnecting from the world so as to connect with God. Time in nature, being exposed to new skills, and making friends, enables children, teenagers, and adults to learn about Jesus Christ and the message of salvation. South Mountain seeks to keep camp affordable for everyone and offsets the cost of camp by around $100 per camper since it’s estimated that the cost of South Mountain’s summer camp is $205 per week and the true cost of camp is over $300 per week. Proceeds from each race goes directly to the camp’s operating budget. This race celebrates God’s work through South Mountain and the ability to experience a great, low-cost camp.
