Armenia Trip

Armenia TripArmenia

We are thrilled to share that God greatly used our Catawba River Baptist Association’s mission team last week as they shared Christ in Armenian Churches and communities. We saw men repent and receive Christ and we were blessed to be able to train pastors and encourage churches through conferences, revivals and networking. May God continue to use our Association greatly as we shine the light of Christ locally and globally. To God be the Glory! If you feel God is calling you to minister with us on our next trip to Armenia please give us a call at our CRBA office.

Baptisms
El Bethel Baptisms

LoveLoud
LoveLoudSchools 2
We have an exciting opportunity to make a difference in our local schools through LoveLoud/ServeNC! As we aim for all 68 churches in the CRBA to participate, we want to highlight 11 schools that are still seeking a sponsoring church.

Your support can mean the world to our public school servants and students. LoveLoud is an excellent way for our churches to show their commitment to our community and the education of our youth.

Let’s come together to make a positive impact. If your church is interested in sponsoring one of these 11 schools, please reach out to us at (828) 437-0137.

BurkeChangers Mission Week

BurkeChangers Mission Week will be here before you know it!  (June 2-5)  Would you commit to pray for all aspects of this youth mission week taking place right here in our communities?  The team has been hard at work making preparations!  Praise God all the bicycles have been donated, many churches have stepped up to be feeding teams for the crews, forms are starting to roll in, and the Crew Chiefs are preparing for their training on May 11th.
It’s not too late for you to get involved!  If you would like to be an adult volunteer, help with block parties, or join the prayer team please contact our CRBA office and we will help you get plugged in!

Out of the Box Idea

Out of the Box Idea (Creative ideas to help churches reach our communities)Teacher Appreciation
Provide baked goods, fruit, snacks, and coffee in the teachers’ lounge of a local school. Write notes of encouragement to the teachers for a great school year.

Ask the principal of the school if you can place a prayer request box in the teachers’ lounge so you can pray for teachers all year. Another idea is to cater lunch on an in-service training day.
