 Michael and Amanda’s timeline of arrival in Burke County Tentative move date is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27.May 31 – Worshiping with a CRBA Church. June 1 – First day in the CRBA Office. Morning in the office/flexibility in the afternoon. For that first week June 5 – Travel Day for Southern Baptist Conference for Associational Leaders Conference. June 6 – Saturday in Orlando. June 7 – Sunday – SBCAL Conference Begins. June 8 – Monday – SBCAL Conference continues. June 9 – Travel Day returning to Morganton, NC. June 10 – At CRBA and participating in final day of BurkeChangers. June 11 – CRBA Office Regular Schedule continues going forward. Let’s Celebrate Men’s Rally  The CRBA Men’s Rally, hosted by First Baptist Icard, was a tremendous night of worship, fellowship, and celebration of all that God is doing among the men of our churches. We are so grateful to First Baptist Icard for being such wonderful hosts and for providing an outstanding meal that everyone enjoyed. The music was truly inspiring as men lifted their voices and sang from their hearts in worship to the Lord. We are also thankful for the powerful message shared by Marty Jacumin, which challenged and encouraged all who attended. Most importantly, we rejoice that there were two professions of faith and several recommitments during the evening. What a blessing to see lives being changed by the power of the Gospel. To God be the glory!BurkeChanger Bikes have all been sponsored! Thank you to everyone who sponsored a bike for the BurkeChangers Block Parties! Please help us spread the word that we will be hosting five block parties throughout Burke County. At each event, two bikes will be given away through a drawing. Most importantly, we ask you to join us in prayer for meaningful Gospel conversations, for hearts to be receptive to the message of Christ, and for many lives to be changed through faith in Him.   Upcoming Opportunities BurkeChangers Youth Mission Week  BurkeChangers Mission Week is quickly approaching, and we invite you to join us in prayer for every youth participant, adult leader, and homeowner who will be impacted through this ministry. Registration has now closed, and we are thankful for the tremendous response. This year, 11 churches will provide 18 crews of youth workers who will serve throughout our communities by building handicap ramps and being the hands and feet of Christ to homeowners in need. Please pray for safety as the teams serve, and pray that meaningful relationships will be built with homeowners, creating opportunities to share the love of Christ and the hope of the Gospel. We also ask you to pray for the evening activities planned for the students after their long days of work. In particular, please pray for Tuesday, June 9, when BurkeChangers participants will host five community block parties across Burke County. Pray for a great turnout, for those presenting the Gospel at each event, and for many Gospel conversations to take place.Most importantly, pray that lives will be changed through faith in Christ and that families will be connected to local CRBA churches through these outreach opportunities.  Save the Date Underwear and Sock Collection  The Women’s ministry of the CRBA will be collecting new underwear and socks for all ages to distribute on their mission trip to Copper Basin Crisis Center in Ducktown, TN. Armenia Mission Trip  We are excited about this year’s mission trip to Armenia. We would love to take a group of 10 men and women to serve in those wonderful churches. Please respond by May 25th if you are interested in going. The estimated cost is $2100. A down payment of $600 is due by May 25th.
